Robert Licata, M.D., F.A.A.P
Dr. Licata moved to Atlanta in 1974 to attend Emory's undergraduate program where he received his B.S. in Biology. He attended the Medical College of Georgia in Augusta and completed his pediatric internship and residency at Kosair Children's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky. He began practicing Pediatrics in Marietta, Georgia in 1985. Dr. Licata served as President and Chief of the Department of Pediatrics at Children's Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite from 1992-1994 and served as the President of the Medical and Surgical staff in 1996. He served as Chairman of The Children's Healthcare Network Board for 7 years has been on the Board of the Children's Care Network since its inception 3 years ago. He is certified by the American Board of Pediatrics and is a Fellow of the American Academy of Pediatrics. Dr. Licata lives in Roswell with his wife, Niveen, and together they have five sons. He enjoys golfing, fly fishing, and skiing.
